How do I search for a property on FsboAlaska.com? There are 3 options for searching for properties.
1. Click on "Buy a Home" towards the top of the homepage and use our advanced search options.
2. Use our "Quick Search" box on the right hand side of our web pages to search for properties.
3. Click on our "Featured Properties". How do I add my property to FsboAlaska.com? Click on "Sell a Home" or "Add Your Property" to begin entering your new user registration information. Once you register, you will be able to add your property information and preview your listing to make changes prior to submitting your payment. You will then have the opportunity to add photos to your listing and pay using a debit or credit card. How do I edit or modify my property? To make changes, you must first log in with your email and password under “Modify Property” or "My Account". Please remember that all login information is case sensitive. Once logged in, you can edit or add: property information, photos, and web links, etc... What if I forget my username or password? Click on the "Modify Property" or "My Account". Click on “Forgotten Password? You will be asked for the email address that was originally entered to become a member. This email address is case sensitive. Your log in information (username and password) will be sent via email to the address provided. How do I add photos to my property? There are 2 ways to add photos to your property.
1. Adding your photos manually: Click on "Modify Property" or "My Account" and sign in with your username/password and add them.
2. Email your photos: You may email your photos to us at support@fsboalaska.com How do I remove my property once it has been sold? There are two ways to remove your listing once sold. First you can login under “Modify Property” or "My Account" with your username and password. Choose to “edit” your ad. You will then be able to “delete” your ad. You may also email FsboAlaska.com to request that your property be removed. We suggest that you leave your property listed until it has been sold even if you have a sale pending, because if the deal "falls through" for some reason you may have missed other home buyers interested in your property. How do I advertise my FsboAlaska.com property in the newspaper? You will need to provide the newspaper with a link to your FsboAlaska.com AD along with your property listing ID# (example below):
www.fsboalaska.com/179 How do I add a company to the services directory? Click on "Add Company" under the "Service Directory" section on the left hand side. Begin filling out the company information. ($199.00/Year) for your company service directory listing. We have two payment options to choose from: credit card or check. If paying by credit card or debit card your service (company) will be added instantly. If paying by company check your company will be added as soon as payment is received. What is the Alaska MLS flat fee program? Leverage the Alaska MLS to market your property! We recommend trying for sale by owner first, but if for some reason it does not work out selling your property on your own this is the service we recommend.
Your home will be listed on the Alaska Multiple Listing service AlaskaMLS (Alaskarealestate.com), Realtor (Realtor.com), and many other real estate websites.
List your property on the Alaska Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for a flat fee, without the usual seller's commission of 1-3%, through For Sale By Owner Alaska and our real estate partner brokerage firm for the low, flat fee price of $399.
*Before listing your property on the Alaska MLS, please realize that you will be obligated to pay a commission of 1% to 3% to the real estate Agent / Licensee who is representing the buyer. If you find a buyer on your own without the use of a real estate agent / licensee you will not be obligated to pay the commission.

4. An additional $350.00 is due at the appointment with the real estate broker and the buyer and seller (this fee may be paid by either the seller or buyer or the fee can be split up. Where do I get the real estate forms to sell my property? We recommend using the FSBO legal paperwork program under the "Other Services" page. However, we do offer forms to download by clicking on "Real Estate Forms" on the left side under "Helpful Tools". Real estate paperwork for Alaska will appear. You may also click on "Alaska Attorney" for more possible options regarding real estate transactions. How and when do I receive my yard signs or supplies? You may click on "FSBO Signs & Supplies" underneath the "Helpful Tools" section on the left hand side. After your payment is complete, we offer (free shipping and handling or free same day delivery in Anchorage). If an order is placed other than Anchorage area, we ship the signs and supplies priority mail and usually takes 2-3 days to receive your order. What should I do about untrustworthy or scam emails? Most of the time these suspicious emails are from outside of the United States and should be immediately deleted. Some recent emails that were reported are from: Mr. Green requesting that you send him a check for money and he will refund the difference... You may want to report these fraudulent emails to the authorities. How do I renew my property? You can renew your property listing by signing in to your account with your email and password, select "Renew Your Property" towards the lower left hand side of the site under "User Tools".
